Cornerstone on the Chickasaw Capitol Building, inscribed with "Great Seal of the Chickasaw Nation" with the low relief of an Indian man in the center. The Romanesque Revival building is built of red granite from the nearby Pennington Creek Quarry, and was dedicated on 17 November 1889; it served as the Chickasaw Nation Capitol until 1906, and is currently a museum
