Formerly in the collection of Alice Denniston Raymond (1852-ca. 1925, widow of Brigadier General Charles Walker Raymond, 1842-1913); possibly collected by her first husband, Captain William Krause (ca. 1840-1901, U.S. Army, 3rd Infantry), who served during military campaigns in Montana from about 1879 to 1885; donated to MAI by Mrs. Raymond in 1921.
